Should i see a doctor or go to hospital?

I broke my toe a couple of months back but acouple of days i caught the same toe n its been painfull but this morning i caught it on my bed its made a loud cracking sound and i've been in agony ever since the pain is right the way along my foot and up into my ankle, what should i do???
