Which gift for my wifes Christmas gift?

I'm stuck between a michael kors purse or some snowboard gear. A little background, my wife loves purses and has every brand/design etc...also we live in the south so we don't snowboard often, buy we've been talking about a trip so I would like to buy her a board boots jacket pants and all that jazz. Would prob spend around 500 on the purse and prob 600 on the gear. What do you ladies think? I know she'd love another purse, but the snowboard stuff would be unexpected.
