Is XB-375L-OL86J-K going to hit earth?
There are NEOs due to impact or come close to earth, but they have sufficiently low Torino scores to pose little threat. One landed in the Sudan 2 years ago. Another one ped within 4,000km very recently but was only 20 feet across. There is no formula for working out how often we are going to be hit by something big, it's pretty much random, but does decrese in time as objects are lost through natural causes, eg hitting something else. The likely hood of something on a Hollywood scale happening isn't worth worrying about, first because the chances are minute, and second, you probably wouldn't know much about it if it did happen. The last four big impacts have all been in North America!
