Gay dating is hard!!!?

If I were to try dating a guy. I am just afraid and nervous of the attackings. I was phobic because i couldn't accept my uality at the time and I was simply afraid of being called a F'ggt down the street from some guy or getting beat up. To gay men, how do you do it while putting up with the crap. Like holding hands or making out in public. All that stuff, I don't have the courage to do that stuff
